2021 Club Exhibition and Sale
Thornton le Dale Hill Institute
Saturday and Sunday 4 and 5 September 2021
The eigth club exhibition and sale took place in a busy Thornton le Dale in fine weather on the first weekend in September.
In all there was £1400 in sales, resulting in a £290 net profit from commission for the club after payment of rent for the hall. This makes it our most successful sale to date. There were 122 items sold, produced by 12 exhibitors, and many members turned up to help at some stage.
Payment to club members for their contributions will be made at the next club meeting..
Our thanks as always must go once again to John Whiteley for all his exertions and expertise in this type of event, for his marathon stint manning the cash desk and persuading people in off the street. Thanks also to all who exhibited items and did their bit manning the exhibition and inviting people in off the street in Thornton.
